THE YEAR IS 2013,
and California has become more than just the golden state. With the world in an all new cultural revolution, it seems that anything is possible. Scientists are now able to clone pets, zoo animals, even bring back animals that were once extinct. People have become more Eco friendly, causing global warming to actually decrease. People have even managed to get population under control. It took four long, bloody, and gruesome years of war, riots, protests, radical ideas, and a complete global reform. And now with one, singular world government located in Europe, it seems like the world will finally have peace...
With peace came the Doll House,
The Doll House has taken the world one step closer to producing clones of human beings. They can do animals, but not human beings. This is where the infamous and notoriously wealthy Miss Dollie comes into play. No one knows who she is, what she looks like, her voice...nothing. What people do know is that she is the owner of The Doll House, a corporation that manufactures humans for any kind of job or role and to be the best in that field. It started as nothing more than a military project back in 1968 to keep radicals from protesting against the Vietnam War. From there it grew to soldiers in Iraq since the United States government needed more and more but did not want a draft for fear of something as outrageous as what happened in 1968 to happen again. Nothing more than amazing soldiers, with no family, no life, nothing. Simply human android set out to kill the enemy they were registered to.
Now, in the year 2013, Miss Dollie has decided to take the company and move it from Globalized military forces and into the hands of average, everyday, wealthy citizens.
Miss Dollie proudly presented to the world her dolls,
These dolls could only be ordered on line through a secret website...at first. Soon it became very public. You could customize your very own doll to be however you want it to be. There are special editions, such as the Spouse Edition which was one of the first to come out. Need a husband who will actually take out the trash? Need a wife who will actually put dinner on the table? You would be able to customize your own chef to cook to only what you like. The only thing anyone ever had to do to register them was a simple kiss so it would only obey you. They look human, seem human, but are stronger, faster, and have a shorter life span of about ten to fifteen years. They do not age, they do not get weak, when they expire, they simply do a system shut down and fall asleep.
Fast Forward to Hollywood, California,
Though no one knows where exactly the dolls are created or where the Doll House corporation is located, Miss Dollie proudly announces in her own magazine/catalog every month on her latest edition to the doll house family. Now it is April 2013 and it seems like Hollywood starlets are buying each of the latest editions, no longer in need of actually chefs to pay for when you could buy one from missdollieshouse.net. But what happens when a mass produced human actually starts to grow...emotions...?And not for whom they are registered to? With the newest edition: the Lover's edition; it seems like the dolls are either falling in love with their owners, or with others they are not registered to. Some actually have a system shut down when they actually gain human emotions. Others...live past their expiration date. Didn't mommy ever teach you not to run with scissors?
