Upon A Maple Tree [Open]

[Forrest Ezekiel Andrews]

The loud roars and skids of cars and trucks erupted in the air as a young teenager walked along Maple Street. The particular street had numerous maple trees that were planted along the side. Despite the loud noises and the polluted air, Forrest managed to find some tranquility of the trees.

He smiled softly and reached out to pluck out a slightly shriveled red maple leaf. The teen fetched out a book and decided to place it gingerly in between. Closing it shut, he shuffled it back into his black Jansport backpack and continued his way home from school.

[Kate Martin]

Kate was late and she was running down the street. She bumped into someone and dropped all her stuff that shehad been carrying in her arms. "Sorry..." She replied looking up to a boy. She knelt down and started to pick up her stuff. She looked at her time and muttered to herself as she picked up her things.

[Forrest Ezekiel Andrews]

Forrest suddenly felt himself pushed aside as he toppled over. He managed to regain his balance as the teen entangled his fingers into his hair.

"Um...yeah. It's okay," he assured the girl quickly. He knelt down and helped her pick up the items that had fallen. "Are you okay?" Forrest asked as he stood up. The brunette extended his hand to help her up.

[Kate Martin]

"I'm fine... thanks..." She replied with a small voice. She took his hand and gave a small smile. She looked at her watch again except... she couldn't go to where she had to go. She sighed, "That's just great..."She muttered. She hid what was inside all the stress that was built up. She continuely smiled and took her things that he picked up. "I'm really sory I need to watch where I'm going I get really clumsy.." She said.

[Forrest Ezekiel Andrews]

Forrest grinned a bit sheepishly; seemed like a public trademark he would display. "It's okay. I know how that feels...I'm a klutz at times," he said. The teen couldn't help but notice that she looked a bit...uneasy. Or was it just his imagination? But then again..she was muttering and such.

"A-Are you sure you're alright? You seem a bit distressed," Forrest asked somewhat worriedly.

"I'm okay... I did have to go somewhere.. but it's too late..." She replied and then shrugged. "It's alright though... it's just a day I miss..." She looked up at him and lightly smiled. This was going to be a long day...

[Simon Heart]

He moved silently nothing could be heard on the street except the loud noises of the vehicles beside him but he couldn't hear them because he was looking down and walking straight ahead lost in time ;Why did I ever move here; He thought to himself taking in a breath as he continued the route he was on, past the Maple Trees until he came to stop to look at one the leaves were so soft and delicate and all they did was remind him of how rough he was. He never tried to be rough but somehow the words of hatred just spewed out of his mouth. He spotted the two standing on the road talking and decided he mid as well ask for directions instead of wandering around like a lost madman. "Excuse me but do either of you know where a skate park can be found in this small waste of a town?" ;There I go again shooting my mouth off like a big city kid I'm going to be hated here quick; He finished his thoughts before he said his second sentence. "I would really like to find amusement but the most amusement there seems to be here is staring at rocks and trees" ;Oh lovely this is going to be a great conversation; He finished his thoughts taking a firm stance even though he was inside scared he never showed it.

"I would tell you if I knew.. but I just moved here like amonth ago.. maybe less than that." Kate replied.
