Loner In The Halls

[Samantha Veris]

Samantha was standing all alone, by herself in the hallway of the school. It was after school again, and Samantha had no idea why she was here. She should had been home, but she didn't want to. Instead, she sat down outside of a Seniors classroom and just stared out into the emptiness, wondering if someone would come.

[Ken Knight]

Ken was coming out of the musical department after his drumline lessons. He walked toward the senior building and saw a girl. She looked rather lonely. Ken walked closer to the girl and said "Hi"
"What are you doing here afterschool?" he asked the girl in a soft hush.

Samantha looked up when she heard somebody's voice. "Hey." Was the random reply she gave. "Just sitting. I guess." She waited for the guy to introduce himself or move on, since she really wasn't that interesting. Or that's what Samantha though anyway.

[Ken Knight]

"hey." Ken said with a wave. Well if your just sitting there aren't you bored/" Ken asked the girl." Anyways I'm Ken Knight nice to meet you. Also, would you mind if I sit next to you?" he asked the girl

"Huh" Samantha bit her lip out of habit. "I guess so, and ya, I'm Samantha. And sure. go ahead." She kinda kinda then started to bit onto her newly painted fingernails..another habit.

[Ken Knight]

Ken stared at the girl chewing her fingernails. "I see you probably have a lot of bad habits you have to quit." ken said looking at the girl with a smile. He then sat down next to then girl then put his hat and hood on. "Hey do you plan to stay here forever?" ken asked the girl.

Samantha stared at Ken for a split second before turning around to look in the other direction and saying, "I dunno. Maybe." In her mind though, Sam was going, Oh. He's cute. But of course, those thoughts where for her only.

Then she turned around and said, "Hey, I could ask you the same things. Why are you here after school?"

[Ken Knight]

"ohhh.. why I'm here afterschool is because I was doing drumline lessons and they just finished." Ken said looking at the girl."First off, tough whats your name? So I can call you by your name." Ken asked the girl he was sitting next to. He quietly waited for an answer.
