The morning breeze caressed the gentle silky hair of a tall brunette. The leaves glided and danced in the wind and the warmth of the sun kissed the cheeks of the mahogany-haired beauty that was...well, stuck in a tree.
Vince gritted his teeth and leaned over the rough bark. His long fingers yearned to touch that smooth plastic flying disc that had apparently gotten stuck in the prickly branches. Below the teenager was a barking and somewhat happy dog.
"Quiet, Harris! It's your fault it's stuck there in the first place!" the brunette called. In reply, Harris barked somewhat indignantly. "Okay, fine. Yes, it was /my/ fault. Happy?" The puppy whined and rolled around on the grass. Vince groaned and sighed, wiping away sweat that had profusedly trailed around his neck and forehead.
"Man...if only someone was here to help me..."

Walking along the feet of a girl was a tan and white rat terrier puppy, she apparently wanted to fetch a ball that her owner held in her hand. She barked, almost as if asking for the bright, neon yellow, tennis ball.
The girl, otherwise known as Brie Stark, looked down at the pup, "Yes Artemis, I know you want to play. We are almost there, just a few more seconds." She smiled as her pet barked in reply.
Brie was dressed in a darker then normal outfit today. A dark pair of blue jeans, which hugged her legs tightly and a white and black cami which was covered with a black cropped. short sleeved zip up jacket. She, of course, wore her favorite black converse high tops with a bunch of writing all over them.
Upon reaching the park, Brie threw the ball, Artemis rocketing after it. She was pretty well trained for a dog her age, coming back after getting hold of the ball. She trotted back toward Brie, the ball continuously falling from her small mouth. That is when she decided to take off running in the opposite direction, such a playful dog.
"ARTEMIS! Come back here with that ball!"

Upon a small commotion nearby, Vince looked down to make sure that his dog was still there. Unfortunately, the brunette had looked just in time to see his terrier make a dash while his owner was stuck in the tree.
"Harris! Come back here!" Vince yelled trying to get back down. But he was up a distance where the brunette suddenly felt extremely nauseous. So he decided to stick very close to the tree.
Meanwhile, Harris had caught a glimpse of a ball...and every instinct in his body willed him to chase after the neon tennis ball. So, the terrier quickly chased after.

Brie watched as another terrier came into play. She shook her head and took off after the two dogs. She wasn't happy with Artemis Taking off but, at least she'd be getting her excersice running after her. She heard the owner of the other terrior call for him. She stopped and turned, she looked to see if she could see him. No having such luck, she turned back toward the dogs
"Artemis, her girl. Bring me the ball," she hollered after her. She had a smile on her face, she was enjoying this though she wasn't sure how the two terriers would react.
Hearing her name once again, Artemis turned and ran back toward Brie, just missing a collision with the jack russell. She ran, the ball slipping from her slobbery grasp. She was much to energetic, she needed to have a lot more room to run. She dropped the ball at Brie's feet, panting lightly at the excitement.
"Here boy," she said crouching down, holding out her hand. Brie picked up the slimmy ball and looked for the jack russell who also seemed to want to play with the ball.

Vince looked around the prickly branches in hope to see where Harris had run off to. If only he wasn't stuck to get the plastic frisbee that Harris loved! Vince sighed and ruffled his hair, leaning on the trunk.
"Dang it..." As the last futile attempt, the brunette puckered his lips and let out a low but distinct whistle.
Harris skidded to a halt and ran after the dog with the ball. He approach the human girl and wagged his tail ferociously. Just as he was about to sniff her hand, he barked and ran towards a tree. Vince sighed in relief.
"Harris! Don't you dare run away again!" the boy chided.

Brie smiled at the dog sniffed her hand, then she stood as the dog ran toward a tree. There was a brunette guy stand at the trunck. She looked at him for a moment before being drawn away by a bark.
"What is it?" she asked, suddenly remembering she was holding the slimmy ball. She threw the ball only a few feet from herself, that way she could keep a close eye on her. She threw the ball toward the strange and his dog.
Artemis took after it. She was happy to be getting back to her game of catch and run although, it was only intended to be catch. She torn through the grass, snatching the ball up. This time she returned it to Brie.
"Go girl Artemis."

Vince heard another bark that was different from his dog's. He glanced down and saw a girl and the dog. He spotted something neon in the girl's hand and the brunette realized that the ball was probably what Harris had been after.
As if on cue after Vince's thought, the terrier whined and padded back to the girl. The mahogany-haired teenager frowned.
"Harris!" Ignoring his owner's pleas, the terrier pawed at the girl for the ball. Vince, defeated, sighed and carefully retreated down a step on the branch. And suddenly, he heard an unmistakeable crack. And time blurred as Vince vaguely remembered what happened. At least he was on solid ground now...though his back and neck were throbbing.
Harris barked happily and dashed to the brunette. Vince rolled his eyes. "Oh, /now/ you come back."

Brie gasped as he fell from the tree and winced when he hit the ground. She rushed to his side and knelt down looking to see if anything looked broken. She tossed the ball to the side and watched as Artemis grabbed and began to chew on it.
"Are you alright?" she asked, not sure why he was up in the tree. She watched Harris for a moment, making sure he wasn't making any injures worse. She sighed and looked up at the tree and then she spotted the frisbee. She sighed standing back up.
"Artemis stay" she command the little tan and white dog. Avoiding the broken tree limb, Brie climbed up the tree, easily making it to the frisbee. She grabbed it but, sat in the tree for a moment, looking down at Artemis, Harris and the boy who had fallen.
Artemis sat, looking at her human. She tilted her head, finding it a bit strange for a human to be in a tree. She barked once again and then ignored the ball, placing her front paws on the trunk of the tree.
