Age: 17
Gender: Female
School: Breeze High School

Background Information
Personality: For those who manage to get close to Clarity, there is much to be said of her personality. She's changed a lot since her freshman year, but still clings to the many traits she is well known for. She's is a known rebel to outsiders, but when her wall is broken and she accepts someone in her life, she is pleasant and companionable. She loves to sneak out to parties, though she absolutely hates drinking and smoking. She's the girl people rely on, though she never relies on others. She can have a sharp tongue sometimes, and will be ready to fight if needed. Her will is strong and she likes to push for her goals.
History:
Growing up, she was the one her mother could always rely on through the rough times. Her father an alcoholic and a druggie, wasting his money and pills and marijuana. She grew up seeing him a mess and her mother was the one working to put food on the table. Finally, while she was in the second grade, her mother divorced him. After that, Clarity spent years crying and blaming herself while also helping to raise her two younger sisters.
It wasn't long before her mother re-married. Clarity tried her best to get along with the new "father" figure in her life, but he was far too different. While her sisters grew up calling this guy "Dad" she always called him by his first name and was always ready to pick a fight. It took her six years and the start of her freshman year before she finally began to accept her step-dad as a part of the family.
Her freshman and sophomore year were much the same. She was known as the wicked little "Gothic" girl, yet people seem drawn to her. She gained three best friends, dated off and on, played as a defensive player on the soccer team, and was known by everyone at school.
After her sophomore year, however, things changed. Her step-dad is in the Navy, so they had orders to move. Junior year was far from what she expected. Everyone at the new school was far different from her old friends. No one accepted her, and she spent half of the year living as a fly on the wall. Finally, a few girls took notice of her and pulled her under their wings. They didn't bother to change her for they grew fond of her attitude. As the year came to an end, Claire grew bored of them and slowly pulled herself away.
Now, its her senior year. Everything will be different. She left behind the black clothing, replacing it with tight tank tops, short skirts and shorts, and ripped denim jeans. Her attitude is still much the same, and everyone seems to have their eyes on her. But she pays little attention to them... Her focus is mainly on her waitressing job, photography, soccer, and keeping her grades up. Still, she can't help but think of how nice it would be to finish the year with at least one best friend and a possible boyfriend.

'and I'll take this acidic hand and place to your heart 'cause guess what? Its my turn to tear you apart...'
It wasn't unusual for her to think up something crafty and jot it down in the torn up notebook she's held onto for years. Pages after pages were full of short poems and songs she's thought up, and only a selective few have ever been able to read it.
"Just another day," she whispered, turning up the volume on her Ipod and she listened to songs from Oh, Sleeper blast through the tiny speaker in her ears. For a while, her light brown gaze focused on the screen on her music player. Her thoughts were taking control and she spaced out.
It took a moment before she finally snapped out of it, slid her Ipod back down into the front pocket of her torn up denim jeans and replaced the top back onto the red sharpie. She then closed up her journal and slid it back into her FOX backpack. As she placed the backpack on the table before her, she started thinking back to her oceanography class and decided she might as well start on the packet her teacher gave her.
Clarity sighed, pulled her Nikon camera from out of the top of her bag, and began to rummage through her book bag.
Other: She owns two cats, Storm and Snowball (the names of the cats I actually own, heh-heh)
